Does the service cost? This service is free for Diabetics of Valley PHO and $28.00 for everyone else. Clinics are held monthly. Please ring for specific dates. Bookings are essential. Free transportThe no cost Transport Service is provided as a means of increasing access to GP and Hospital Health Care. Who can use this service?
This service is free and is provided Mon to Fri 8.30am - 4.00pm Free soup and breadHot Soup is provided every Wednesday at no cost for children out from school and parents are welcome too. When available we provide free bread on Tuesday and Thursday at the office. Mirimiri & RongoaMirimiri is massage that works from a Warier Maori perspective. This service is for all people particularly those who have aching muscles. Rongoa is natural remedies from our own forests and trees. Te Awhina is a tohunga specialist in this area and has weekly clinics. There is no cost, however a contribution to a shared lunch is appreciated and transport is available. Mirimiri & Rongoa runs every Thursday's 10 am-2.00pm Please make enquiries with Justine. Fitness ServicesCommunity ExerciseTai Chi classes are held at Muturangi Whare. This is a great start for anyone who wishes to get into a fitness routine and welcomes any age, size or fitness level. There are no costs and transport is available. Classes are held every Friday 10.am-11.00am. Please make enquiries with Justine. Waka AmaWhat is Waka Ama? Waka Ama is paddling out rigger canoes. We teach water safety, self confidence, whakawhanaungatanga, navigation, waiata, fitness auahi kore and nutrition. respect for the sea. Who is Waka Ama far? Waka Ama is open to all fitness levels and ages. Training runs weekly Tues 3.45pm - 5.30pm
